  What is sun allergy ( Photodermatoses )?

Sun allergy can be caused by 2 factors:

1. The skin has accumulated from using cosmetics or skin cleaning products for a long time. When exposed to sunlight, it causes sunlight allergy.

2.Medicines used to treat common diseases such as diabetes medicine, etc.

What type of rash is suspected of being a sun allergy?

    Rashes can have many different characteristics, such as red, itchy bumps, thick raised rashes, or sometimes water-filled blisters. It usually grows on areas outside the shade that are exposed to sunlight, such as the face, lower neck, ears, outer arms and legs, backs of the hands and backs of the feet.

  1. Avoid the sunny period from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - If it is necessary to go out in the sun. You should wear a long-sleeved shirt and an umbrella/wide-brimmed hat.

2. Use sunscreen regularly - because under the shade of trees or over the eaves of the house. May be exposed to UV rays like when in the sun. Normally, concrete floors, water floors, sand floors can reflect UV rays into the body's skin.

3.You should choose a sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or more - It is important to choose a sunscreen that can protect against UVA rays and must contain sunscreen ingredients.

4. Eat all 5 food groups. Drink lots of water - Eat a variety of nutritious foods, especially vegetables and fruits. Drink at least 6-8 glasses of water per day.

5. Don't stress, get enough rest.

6. Avoid polluted places.

7. Do not use addictive substances, do not smoke.
