Annual health examination and preparation

     Annual health examinations are very important at every age because of changes in people's lifestyle habits. Various external environmental factors, including some genetic diseases, all have an impact on health. Some diseases in the early stages do not show abnormal symptoms, such as high blood pressure, high blood fat, diabetes, etc. Annual health examinations are therefore useful in finding diseases or abnormal conditions. Including various risk factors to lead to prevention and treatment of disease at an early stage.




Who should be examined and what health examinations should they receive?


* Age range 0-18 years (children and teenagers)


-General physical health check, weighing, height measurement and body mass index assessment.


- Health examination, evaluation of the mouth and teeth


-Receiving appropriate vaccines according to age.


* Age range 20-30 years


It is in the late teens and entering the working age. You should have regular health checks at least once a year. Check for sugar, fat, kidney function, liver, and general urine. Try to take care of your health and change your lifestyle habits. Eating foods that will cause disease in the future


* Age range 30-40 years


This is a period of working age that involves risky behaviors in life such as eating. Therefore, a general physical examination should be done, complete blood count, sugar, fat, liver, kidney function, urine test, chest X-ray, abdominal sound rate and ECG


* Age range 40-50 years


You should have a basic examination like when you are 30-40 years old. You should check further: Cervical cancer screening, breast cancer screening in women, prostate cancer screening in men , and additional, more detailed examinations regarding the heart such as heart ultrasound, treadmill running.


* Age 50 years and up


You should have a basic examination like when you're 40-50 years old and focus on additional examinations regarding cerebrovascular disease, cancer examinations, etc.




 The importance of annual health examination

•​To prevent or find various diseases that may occur in our body from the earliest stages. which do not yet have symptoms include diabetes, high blood pressure, high blood fat, etc. It can be detected before symptoms appear.

•​To be a starting point for us to receive appropriate treatment and prevent the disease from progressing to severe complications.

•​To reduce the rate of severe illness and reduce the death rate very well.

Starting with preparing to go for a general health check. Try reading the following advice.

- Abstain from all types of food and drinks except water at least 8 hours before receiving the health examination.

- Urine and stool samples should be collected on the day of the test only. For women, it should be sent 10 days after menstruation.

- Bring medical examination results or health history with you for use in diagnosis.

- In the case of taking regular medicine, you should take it after drawing blood and submitting a urine sample.

In the case of undergoing a heart fitness test while exercising, you must prepare as follows.

- You should wear sports shoes during the examination.

- Foods that are high in fat or contain caffeine and alcohol should be avoided.

- In the case that you are undergoing treatment or taking medicine Please inform the details before coming for the examination.

- Please notify the nurse before being examined if you have chest pain or difficulty breathing. In the case of examining the abdomen with high frequency sound waves

- You should drink water and refrain from urinating before the test to allow the bladder to fully expand for an effective test.

-  While undergoing the examination, you may feel uncomfortable due to the gel that makes you feel cold and wet.
