Causes of De Quervain's Tenosynovitis

These congenital diseases will reduce blood flow to the peripheral nerves or tendons, causing the tendons to easily become frayed and inflamed.

Symptoms of tendinitis in the wrist

- Difficulty moving wrists and fingers

- Pain when moving your wrist or using your hand to grab things.

- Swelling, redness, and heat at the base of the thumb.

- There may be pain radiating down to the fingertips or up to the elbow.

- There may be numbness in the thumb and base of the thumb.

- A lump may be felt on the thumb side of the wrist.

Initial treatment

Take a break is the first and most important piece of advice.

- Soak in warm water 1-2 times a day, 15-30 minutes each time. After soaking in warm water, do physical therapy.
