Sodium

Magnesium

Magnesium is found in many green leafy vegetables, whole grains, and beans. Magnesium plays a role in inhibiting the contraction of smooth muscles in the blood vessel walls. Helps in the expansion of blood vessels. Therefore helps in reducing blood pressure.

 Alcohol

Drinking 3 alcoholic beverages per day increases blood pressure by 3 mmHg. Therefore, you should refrain or control the amount less.
