High blood pressure occurs more often in the elderly. It is considered a chronic disease and requires good care of oneself. Therefore, taking care of food or nutrition is considered very important. How should patients with high blood pressure eat?

Sodium

It has been found that eating less sodium can help lower blood pressure. Magnesium

Magnesium is found in many green leafy vegetables, whole grains, and beans. Magnesium plays a role in inhibiting the contraction of smooth muscles in the blood vessel walls. Helps in the expansion of blood vessels. Therefore helps in reducing blood pressure.

 Alcohol

Drinking 3 alcoholic beverages per day increases blood pressure by 3 mmHg. Therefore, you should refrain or control the amount less.
