 What is high blood pressure?

High blood pressure is the pressure inside the arteries. Which is caused by the contraction of the heart to pump blood to various parts of the body. It can be measured in 2 values:

Systolic blood pressure: is the blood pressure value while the heart contracts.

Diastolic blood pressure: is the blood pressure value while the heart relaxes.

For high blood pressure, the measured value will be greater than or equal to 140/90 mmHg. This can cause various complications such as heart disease, stroke, or kidney failure, etc.

The food that we eat every day can help reduce blood pressure, but it should be food that contains 3 essential minerals: potassium, magnesium, and calcium, which are found in these foods.





Beef tenderloin

    You should choose to eat the lean part because this part of the meat is rich in 15 percent potassium and has less cholesterol than the lean part. You should eat no more than 5-6 bite-sized pieces to be healthy.

Natural yoghurt

Broccoli
