-If you wake up in the middle of the night, you should turn on the light.

-After waking up, you should slowly get out of bed, possibly sitting on the edge of the bed for a moment before standing up.

-Use walking aids to help reduce the risk of slipping and falling or having an accident.

-Do activities that help you feel relaxed. This is because anxiety can make vertigo worse.

-Do not lift your head too much when reaching for tall objects.

-Do not bend down to pick up things. You may slowly squat down to pick up things instead.
