How to treat and prevent dry eyes?

 Dry eye disease...what causes it?

The causes of dry eye disease can be caused by many factors, including abnormal functioning of the eyelid sebaceous glands, degeneration of the tear glands with age, hormonal imbalances in the body, prolonged use of the eyes, contact lenses or being in an environment with only pollution can cause eye allergies.

Symptoms of dry eyes

-Eye stinging, eye irritation, and eye irritation

-Eye pain and irritation while wearing contact lenses

-Blurred vision while using contact lenses

-Some people have mucus or sticky eye discharge.

Causes of dry eyes

-Smoking

-Taking certain medications, such as diuretics, sleeping pills, and antihistamines

Caring for and preventing dry eyes

- If you have to use your eyes for a long time, rest your eyes every 30-60 minutes by closing your eyes for 1-2 minutes.

- Blink often so that tears coat the eyes all the time.

- If eye irritation drops with artificial tears.

- Shouldn't wear contact lenses for more than 8 hours.

- Drink lots of water.

- Wear sunglasses or wind protection.

-Eat foods that nourish eyesight, such as vegetables, fruits, and sea fish that contain essential fatty acids or omega 3.
