It also helps strengthen various systems in the body, resulting in strong overall health. How many types of exercise are there?

There are many ways to exercise and any type of exercise can be done if the strength is applied correctly. It is considered to have a positive effect on the body. They are mostly divided into 2 types: cardio and weight training, with each type of exercise giving different results:

“Cardio” is exercise that continually raises your heart rate to a level above 60% of your point of fatigue without slowing it down. This will take approximately 30 - 60 minutes to exercise, helping to strengthen the body's circulatory system, both the heart and blood vessels, including running, cycling, aerobic dancing, swimming, and brisk walking.

Cardio burns more calories than weight training. If we spend the same amount of time exercising and the amount of energy burned during cardio will depend on the type we choose and the intensity of the exercise.

Weight training is

“Weight training” is an exercise that uses weight from various equipment to add resistance to the muscles or may rely on your own body weight instead of various equipment to create resistance. This is called "body weight." Weight training increases muscle strength and endurance. Helps stimulate the metabolism so that it can work continuously for a long time even after you stop exercising. This is different from cardio that if you stop playing, Metabolism will stop working.

Weight training and cardio Which type is right?

It can be seen that cardio exercise burns more calories than weight training, resulting in better weight loss. Doing cardio alone will result in muscles not being toned and your body not being as firm as it should be. The reason is because cardio exercise burns both our fat and muscles at the same time. Including weight training exercises, you need cardio to give you strength to exercise continuously.

However, experts recommend combining weight training with cardio. If you want to lose weight, focus on burning fat and toning your muscles, do weight training before cardio. If you want to develop muscles, for example to develop to run a marathon. Cardio exercises should be done before weight training. All of this can be adjusted according to each person's lifestyle and needs. If it will give better results in the long run, it should be taken together, including eating nutritious foods. We guarantee that we will definitely have a good figure and good health.
